In April 2020, amidst the overwhelming bad news from around the world, I found solace in the idea of a fantastic world where organisms lived happily, and there was still so much left to discover. I wrote a short story for my nephew, which gradually became the place we could escape to when reality became too much to bear.

In this story, we explore the polar marine life, infused with a touch of fantasy, while also addressing sensitive topics.
