Alessandra D’Angelo, Ph.D.
Biogeochemical Oceanographer
I study how climate change and human activities shape Arctic marine environments. My research connects particle transport, methane cycling, microplastic pollution, and the responses of marine organisms.
I combine oceanographic expeditions, laboratory experiments, and time-series observations to investigate processes linking seawater, sea ice, and marine ecosystems.
